depilation with wax or sugar paste
At the Feliz beauty salon, we offer waxing or sugaring hair removal all year round. We invite women and men for treatments.
For the treatment, depending on the body part, we use soft, hard wax and sugar paste. After depilation in our salon, you can enjoy smooth skin for longer than after a disposable razor. Regularly plucked hair with paste or wax weakens the hair bulb, which causes the hair to grow back less and less often, and those that still grow back are thinner and softer.
what parts of the body should we depilate with wax or sugar paste?
Hair removal for both women and men can be effectively used on body areas such as:
- buttocks
- legs
- arms
- face
- neck
- back
- chest
- belly
- around the navel
- women’s bikini area
How to prepare for hair removal with wax or sugar paste?
Preparations for the procedure:
- Before the treatment, the hairs must be approximately 0.5 cm long
- do not use retinoids (does not apply to sugar paste) and local medications, which may contribute to complications after the procedure, after discontinuing the medications you should also wait – after retinoids it is a period of 6 months
- We do not perform the treatment on irritated skin, e.g. after intense sunbathing or sauna
- We recommend exfoliating the body 24 hours before the treatment to exfoliate dead skin (e.g. after sunbathing) and to reduce ingrown hairs in people prone to ingrown hairs.
- on the day of the procedure, do not use fatty creams or olives
depilation - post-treatment recommendations
After treatment:
- for about 1-2 days or until the red, irritated skin stops, which sometimes happens after hair removal – avoid physical activity, hot baths, saunas, swimming pools and exposure to the sun or solarium
- 2-4 days after the treatment, we recommend exfoliating the body to prevent ingrown hairs
- For irritated skin, we recommend using a soothing cream, e.g. bepanthen
If you have a tendency to ingrown hairs, we recommend performing regular scrubs at home and strongly moisturizing your skin, and in autumn-winter we invite you to laser hair removal.
